Farm Explorer Live — Agribusiness Flagship

GAB’s unified agribusiness flagship. Farm Explorer Live organises the consolidated initiatives around three connected pathways: partner with the farm; source from the farm; and develop value with the farm. Block-level map, farm evidence and approved media provide shared proof and discovery. Current commercial execution continues through governed Sales, Farm ERP, Finance, Comms, Production and approval workflows.

Gate History

Portfolio G0-G2 and Project G3-G6 decisions in one view.

G0 — go

Portfolio & BA • Daniel Nsowah (CEO) • 15 Jul 2026

Route into full PBA lifecycle: needs assessment → business case → benefits management plan → charter basis → G2 before any promotion to Projects. No build work on the Farm Explorer block layer before gate approval — the lean live layer remains a candidate delivery option to be assessed within the business case (D4 design options), not a pre-approved shortcut. Season timing (3rd/4th RD harvest Aug–Oct 2026) to be treated as a constraint evaluated in the business case, not a reason to bypass gates.

G1 — go

Portfolio & BA • Daniel Nsowah (CEO) • 15 Jul 2026

Option O1 (phased lean block layer + demand generation) approved as the justified path. Conditions carried forward: (1) CEO to validate GHS 900/t price reference and scenario tonnage targets against Mampong/Kumasi price research during benefits plan/charter development; (2) Phase A prerequisites (contact form fix, planting dates, input-cost backfill, capture cadence) required before any public price or crop-health claim; (3) Data Trust clearance is a Phase B exit criterion; (4) O2 (full interactive platform) remains contingent on O1 evidence — first industrial agreement or ≥1 reserved block.

G2 — go

Portfolio & BA • Daniel Nsowah (CEO) • 15 Jul 2026

G1 price condition closed: reference price set at GHS 800/t as flexible starting basis (CEO decision) — floor-price methodology and financial scenarios to use 800 as baseline reference, adjustable against Mampong/Kumasi market data per stage. Delivery lane confirmed: build work (block layer + contact form fix) to Code under existing Portfolio & BA contract; farm data remediation internal (CEO/Farm Manager); Phase C demand generation CEO-led with Comms. Standing conditions: no public price/health claims before Phase A completion and Data Trust clearance; forward-sale cap 60–70% of conservative yield; O2 features gated on R2/R3 evidence.

G3 — go

Project • Daniel Nsowah • 13 Aug 2026

Retroactive reconciliation: historical G3 combined planning and execution. The completed planning/baseline record is now formally approved as the distinct G3 stage.

G4 — go

Project • Daniel Nsowah • 13 Aug 2026

G4 delivery is the released Farm Explorer capability. Activation, allocations, forward reservations and Design System learning continue as operations of Farm Explorer Live, not project-delivery conditions.

G5 — go

Project • Daniel Nsowah • 13 Aug 2026

Acceptance/release applies to the delivered live product. Benefits measurement, activation and commercial cycles continue under product operations.

G6 — go

Project • Daniel Nsowah • 13 Aug 2026

WP8-WP10 and Design System learning are ongoing Farm Explorer Live operations under named owners and metrics, not remaining project deliverables.

Transition to Operations

Define where the project output lives after delivery.

Farm Explorer Live — product operations handover

farm • accepted • Daniel Nsowah; Farm owns field truth, Sales owns qualification/agreements/fulfilment, Comms owns canonical public experience, Finance owns commercial records.

The delivered project output is the live product Farm Explorer Live (product_id 1413d6e1-0e1a-4c03-84f3-acfd7761c9e4; key farm_explorer_live), available at https://gabclimatesmart.com/farm-explorer. It persists as an operational capability after project closure; the project no longer owns ongoing commercial cycles.
