EIRAS · Use Case 14
Assumptions & Evidence Validation Register
Every factual claim that feeds a client-facing EIRAS output — a law, a reporting obligation, a figure, a threshold, a methodology — is logged here with its source and verification status. The rule: nothing reaches a client as “fact” unless it is verified here and current. Built after the CLICOM fact-check found a ~45% citation error rate in agent-drafted content.
Client-readiness by domain
A domain is clear to put in front of a paying client only when every registered assumption in it is verified and current.

Efficiency recommendations are advisory prompts based on footprint concentration, not automated commitments or guaranteed savings figures.
Source: EIRAS Efficiency Engine disclaimer, 2026-05-29 (2026-05-29) · verified 2026-05-29 · re-check by 2026-12-01
If wrong: Prevents over-reliance on rule-based recommendations as binding commitments.
Recommendations assert no savings figures, payback periods, or implementation costs without independent engineering review.
Footprint entries linked to SiteSense cases represent screening-level estimates for project scoping, not audited corporate ESG disclosures.
Source: EIRAS Efficiency Engine scope limit, 2026-05-29 (2026-05-29) · verified 2026-05-29 · re-check by 2026-12-01
If wrong: Distinguishes project-scoping footprint estimates from audited corporate sustainability reports.
Site-level footprint entries should not be used as audited ESG disclosures without independent verification and corporate data collection.
Emission factors ship as reference values and start unverified. A footprint figure is only client-ready when the factor it was computed from is verified.
Source: EIRAS Efficiency Engine design v1, 2026-05-29 (2026-05-29) · verified 2026-05-29 · re-check by 2026-12-01
If wrong: Prevents unverified emission factors from being used in client-facing ESG reports.
Factors must be confirmed against primary sources (DEFRA/DESNZ, IGES/IEA, Ghana Energy Commission) before figures derived from them are marked client-ready.
Scope 3 (value chain) emissions are not comprehensively covered by the current factor library. Claims about supply-chain or downstream emissions require specialist review.
Source: EIRAS Efficiency Engine sprint limit, 2026-05-29 (2026-05-29) · verified 2026-05-29 · re-check by 2026-12-01
If wrong: Prevents over-confident Scope 3 claims from a limited factor set.
The current factor library focuses on direct energy, fuel, water, and waste. Full Scope 3 coverage requires additional factors and methodologies.
